Egreat A9 is a Smart Android TV Box with very high build quality composed from metal material running Android 4.4 OS. Hardware specs are based on Mstar MSO9180 Soc Solution. The A9 specs are not high power compared to latest Octa Core Amlogic or Rockchip Soc solutions, but they are good for above average users and less for gaming. It works especially well as a media center box with It’s dual WiFi antennas in streaming /playing movies, with full Kodi/XBMC Media Player software support.
The product has few additional unique features such as an internal 3.5″ Hard-drive bay and HDMI input port for recording content, what is called DVR (Digital Video Recording) feature that is built inside Android system. Basically, if the video signal isn’t encrypted user should be able to record video directly when connected to any cable TV box. After recording process is done video files are then stored locally on device internal storage space or external disk.
